“In the United States, the governors of each state have issued executive orders establishing a policy on how to prevent the spread of the virus, closing schools, restaurants and courts. However, while states vary in how they implement their responses, courts have issued emergency orders with guidelines, designed to assist lawyers when advising clients in these times of uncertainty, and also to help the parties in navigating these waters.”

“Even before the pandemic, Albania’s healthcare system was distressed. It was not ready to treat and hospitalize what was feared would be a massive number of people being afflicted with COVID-19. The government created the Expert Technical Committee, an emergency body comprised of experts to give recommendations on measurements to fight the pandemic.”
